What does the treatment feel like ?
The treatment involves drawing blood from your arm, separating the platelets, and then injecting them into your skin via machine and/or injecting by needles manually. The procedure is done with very small needles and most people are able to tolerate the procedure without any difficulty.
How quickly will I recover?
You may expect mild inflammation, redness and swelling, itching and/or soreness for a few days (1-5) – these are common to any injection procedure. It is normal to feel firmness in the injection site for a few days post treatment. This will soften over time.
